Installing Oracle Linux server on VMware:

-- First Download
VMware and install it.
-- Open VMware
-- follow the below
instructions as per screenshots.
--click on Create a New Virtual machine icon
--click on Next
--Select Insaller disc image file(iso) radion
button and click Browse option to
select "OEL iso file" (which u
downloaded earlier)

for reference of ISO file for installing
(Oracle Enterprise Linux)OEL 5.6 iso
filename.
--By click Browse option, select .iso file
--click Next
--select Linux radio button and version as Oracle Enterprise Linux.
--click Next
--click Next
--Give Virtual machine name and Location (where u want to save vm machine).
--click Next
--Give Disk size
--select Store
virtual disk as a sigle file radio button
--click Next
--click on
Customize Hardware and give values as per below screenshot
--click Close
--Click Finish
--click ok--Move mouse cursor into it and hit Enter button
--Click Skip
--Note: Use Ctrl+Alt key to move mouse over in&out of Virtual machine and windows system.
--click Next
--click Next
--click Next
--click Yes
--click Next
--select New, to create custom mount-points.
--New pop-up opens as above
--Give Mount Point value as / ( it means root mount-point) give values as mentioned in above image.
--click Next
--click Yes
--click Next
--select New, to create custom mount-points.

--Check the mount-points created and disk space by using command 'df -h'
